SHORT-TERM RENTALS
Before applying and wasting time and money, understand you need to meet the qualifications we use for long-stay tenants. If your FICO score is above 630, you are automatically qualified if none of the disqualifications apply. If it is between 600-630, we can review your credit and see if an exception can be made. Exceptions may require additional prepayment of rent. Disqualification for leasing include:
● any portion of their rent is paid by the HUD/Section 8 program
● they smoke or vape
● they have been convicted of any felony according to our background search and/or Taylor County records
● a credit report reveals unpaid child support
● they have been evicted from an apartment
● they owe rent to another landlord
● they are under the age of 18
● the tenant is neither guardian, parent, nor spouse to a joint occupant under the age of 18
● they will have more than 2 people per leased bedroom
● they are a non-student with income less than three times their monthly rent
